Myrrh has been around a LONG LONG time! Way back in the day in ancient times myrrh resin was used in both incense and perfumes. It is a sacred resin used to anoint kings and to prepare pilgrims traveling to holy places. The tree is native to Ethiopia and Somalia. Stillpoint's myrrh resin comes from Ethiopia. Our myrrh resin is wild harvested and what that means it is collected only after an animal brushes up against it and it falls off the tree.
